There are very few math related comedy videos online. There are even fewer which are intelligently humorous.
Here are some clips which I consider the best of the best. I hope this list will grow.
G103
A (surreal) day in the life of an undergraduate on the 4-year MMath degree at the University of Warwick.
Beautifully done, there is also a short video on the making of G103.
Kirby and the Love Equation
Short film made as part of SATO 48 2007. Kirby is a loveable 13 year old math wiz who falls in love with a much older girl.
Scary Math Teacher
Algebra II is Tough! But... not that tough.
Life After Poincaré: A Perelman Adventure (Part 1 of n)
The adventures of the world's greatest living mathematician following his principled rejection of the Fields Medal, the highest award in math.
The brief intro to this episode is true. Sylvia Nasar's article Manifold Destiny
can be found here. The real Grigori Perelman left mathematics when he found legacy was more
important to mathematicians than the works themselves. Sad, really...
Life After Poincaré: A Perelman Adventure (Part 2 of n)
This is Episode 2: A Dutiful Mind: The continuing story of the world's smartest mathematician and his life since proving the Poincaré Conjecture, one of the
most difficult math problems in history.
The Klein Four
The Klein Four Group of the Northwest University Mathematics Department is the best a cappella group that doesn't really exist. Conceived in November 2003 and after their video for "Finite Simple Group" became quite popular in May 2005, they released their first CD, "Musical Fruitcake," in October 2005. The store, as well as other media can be found at www.kleinfour.com. Also check out their song 'Lemma' posted on their facebook page.
A Solid For a Fan
Faithful Klein Four fans Scott and Nicola are on the outs. Can a mangled metaphor help reunite them? The Klein Four is determined to find out.
Finite Simple Group (of Order Two)
The original and famous math a cappella performance by The Klein Four, remastered for your enjoyment. A great musical piece - mathematically speaking.
New Math
Written by Tom Lehrer in 1965 and recently lip-synced by RonfarZ3 on YouTube, 'New Math' has actually been quite a controversial topic in the United States.
It emphasizes the learning of more obscure mathematical concepts at the expense of traditional ones. Students "heard of the commutative law, but did not know the multiplication table." The reason for it's failure
to be adopted in the 1960s and once again in the 1990s was partly due to this satire song.
The Proof
Simple video clip starts after the opening title - Where's the proof?
